Hello, I’m Clinton Stonich

I’m an Idaho-based graphic designer and creative leader with 14+ years of experience working across branding, packaging, marketing, and team leadership. I’ve led projects from early concept through execution, partnered closely with cross-functional teams, and spent years helping brands find their voice without playing it too safe. Whether I’m hands-on designing or leading a creative team, I care just as much about how the work gets made as the work itself.

I love environments where people feel comfortable speaking up, challenging ideas, and having a genuinely good time creating meaningful work. Strong culture isn’t a perk… it’s the foundation for better collaboration and stronger outcomes.

The examples below highlight culture-building work I’ve led, from building teams to creating shared experiences that inspire lasting impact. Contact me at clintonstonich@gmail.com

The Vibe Tribe

I was given the opportunity to build an internal creative team from the ground up, and in a relatively short amount of time, it grew into a 12-person, multidisciplinary group spanning design, copywriting, photography, and videography.

From the start, we prioritized communication, organization, and an amazing culture where people felt supported, heard, and trusted to do their best work. We collaborated, laughed often, and built real relationships. I truly believe the best results happen when team members actually enjoy working together.

White Water Rafting

One of the most memorable team-building experiences was a full-day whitewater rafting trip down Idaho’s South Fork of the Snake River. We navigated class III-IV rapids while relying on each other’s strength, focus, and communication.

By the end of the trip, we were a stronger, more connected team, bonded by shared adventure, freezing-cold water, and pure adrenaline. Note: There was only one injury.

Guest Speaker: Aaron Draplin

We had the incredible opportunity to bring design legend Aaron Draplin to our headquarters for a five-hour-long skill share session. Aaron is known for his bold, no-nonsense design style and fearless approach to branding. Over the course of the session, he shared lessons from his life, design principles and techniques, and strategies for working with different types of clients.

The insights we gained had a lasting impact, inspired new ideas, improved how we approach our work, and reinforced why shared learning is such an important part of great culture.

Guest Speaker: Andy Pearson

As a huge fan of Liquid Death’s brand, it was incredible to have Andy Pearson (VP of Creative, Liquid Death) join us for a virtual skill share session to discuss his unique approach to marketing, storytelling, and brand building. He walked us through how the brand connects with audiences, crafts bold campaigns, and builds character-driven strategies.

The insights he shared shaped how we approached our work and inspired the team to take bigger creative risks while staying true to our brands. It was a rare opportunity that left a lasting mark on our creative approach and reminded us why learning from the best is so valuable.

Guest Speaker: Chris Piascik

We were thrilled to host prolific illustrator and YouTuber Chris Piascik for a virtual skill share. Chris shared his history, from getting started to working with brands like Nike, Cartoon Network, and Adobe, and walked us through illustration techniques as well as tips and tricks for Adobe Fresco.

The session gave us hands-on insight into Chris’ process and inspired the team to experiment with new techniques in our own work. It was an unforgettable experience that influenced how we approach illustration, lettering, and color.

Award-Winning Work

Submitting creative work to the Boise Ad Federation’s Rockies Awards has been a priority throughout my career. Throughout the years, we’ve won multiple awards for print design, branding, video, and copywriting, across multiple teams and organizations.

These wins were more than just trophies to us. They reflected the culture we built, the collaboration we practiced, and the creative ideas we brought to life.
